Macassar Ebony is a Southeast Asian hardwood and is an extremely hardwood. Finding this wood in the dimensions necessary for batons is not common. If you're looking for a cheap baton, this is not the one for you. It is a stunning hardwood with a rich dark hue, extremely smooth/closed grain pattern and accompanied by a decent weight.
